Carcility is the leading car service in the UAE. By comparing a variety of car service providers, Carcility helps car owners find the right service for their car. Choosing convenient, efficient, and affordable service and maintenance has never been easier. The Carcility team strives to provide the best car care experience, an all-in-one destination for all car service and car repair needs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.

A major problem was the lack of quick and easy ways to avail services for all customers. Especially for Dubai, the world's second-largest tourism destination. A common platform, where customers could access the services from any remote device, was essential even though there were many individual service providers.

Developing a mobile and web application that serves as a common platform for Dubai's vehicle owners and service providers.

Our solution to Carcility's problem consisted of two parts. Identifying and empathizing with the various personas involved in the system was the first step.

This would help us come up with better solutions that meet the needs of the problem at hand. It would also help us remove our biases about the problem.

We understood both the outline of the platform and the in-depth analysis of each module.

By conducting primary and secondary research and auditing competitors, we were able to gain a better understanding of the domain.

For each of the personas we identified, we designed separate questionnaires. It was necessary to address the problems of individual car owners and vendors in different ways. Our second step was to map emotions to the customer journey in order to understand how we can improve our service.

Wireframes were primarily used as documentation for the complete development of the apps. As a result, we have a clear foundation upon which to build future developments.

Having completed the wireframes, we began working on the platform's visual design. Our inspiration was AirBnB because it had the elements of simplicity and trendiness that would be helpful to a broad audience. We took great care during the visual design process to ensure that everything was analyzed through UX thinking.

A clickable wireframe prototype was used to test the first few interactions with the app with users.

Small-time vendors can now achieve more business and better service thanks to Carcility's healthy ecosystem. As a result of competitive prices, customers have a wide range of options to choose from. Carcility emerged as the number one car service provider in Dubai. In 2019, Carcility won the Top 50 in Smartpreneur and was featured in Khaleej Times, Cofounder.ae, and DubaiEye.
